SUMMARY:Violins of Hope
DESCRIPTION:The Story of a Violin That Survived the Holocaust \nViolins of Hope concert tells a powerful story of a violin recovered from a Nazi concentration camp.\nViolins of Hope is an internationally recognized project led by Israeli luthier Amnon Weinstein and his son Avshi\, dedicated to restoring violins that survived the Holocaust and bringing them back to the concert stages. Today\, these violins travel the world not as symbols of tragedy\, but as symbols of resilience\, hope\, and the enduring power of music.\nThe voice of one of these violins will come alive in our community\, featuring Auerbach’s T’filah (Prayer)\, Shostakovich-String Symphony\, Schindler’s List theme\, and Balgley’s Klezmer Concerto featuring Matheus Garcia Souza\,  Solo Violin.\nLearn more about the Violins of Hope Project: HERE\nGLCO is committed to creating a welcoming and accessible experience for all. For accommodation requests or accessibility support\, please contact our office at 231-487-0010.\nGET TICKETS
